The Sutherland Shire Water Polo Association is an association for all ages and levels of experience. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, we have a division for everyone - from U8s to U15s, and Opens! We play on Friday nights (open Social) and Saturdays (Juniors)at Sutherland Leisure Centre.
No prior experience is necessary for playing
Saturday competition (Structure for 2026/2027)
Spring / Summer season - September to December
Summer / Autumn - January to March
Friday night Social Comp
Summer season starts in mid-October and runs til March/April (with a break from before Christmas/New Year)
Winter season -May-Jun
What is National Water Polo Day?
National Water Polo Day has been created to capitalise on the profile of our Aussie Sharks and Aussie Stingers following their successful performances at the 2024 Olympic Games.
